GrameenPhone Internet Packages (GP Internet Packages)
GrameenPhone, one of other mobile telephone company of Bangladesh provides internet service in its coverage area. Internet service provide by GrameenPhone called as "GP Internet" or "GrameenPhone Internet". This operator has EDGE/GPRS enabled network, any subscriber can access to internet through this network. GrameenPhone was the first mobile operator in Bangladesh to offer EDGE services to its subscribers. User can easily connect to internet by availing any of the internet packages offered by GrameenPhone.
Unlimited browsing with 30 days validity, monthly charge is BDT 850 (*exv). To activate type P2 and SMS to 5000 or dial *500*2#. Available for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers.
For Prepaid: When a subscriber activates EDGE P2, the auto-renewal feature becomes active by default. But for successful execution, subscriber needs to have sufficient balance (BDT 850+VAT) in his/her account. GP Internet P1: Pay as you go
P1 is the basic and pay-as-you-go offer which is applicable for Post Paid subscribers only. For every kilobyte (KB) of data browsed, subscribers are charged BDT 0.02(excluding VAT). Type P1 and send to 5000 to activate P1 Package or Dial *111*6# and follow the instructions.
GP Internet Daily Maximum: (BDT 20/day)
M20 is for only prepaid subscribers where Internet usage is chargeable at BDT 0.02/KB up to a maximum of BDT 20/Day, between 12am-11.59pm daily. Fair Usage Policy is applicable after crossing 10 MB usage for that day. NO NOTIFICATION will be given in case of crossing 10MB usage. To check usage type info and send to 5000 or Dial *577*5#. Activation is same as activating P1.
